A few days ago I stopped by the Surrey Hotel to preview the newest Cartier fragrance, Baiser Volé (“stolen kiss” in French) and no joke, Tom Ford White Suede move to the side (at least on days when I want something lighter…). I’ve been wearing the fragrance for the last few days and I’ve never gotten so many complements on a perfume. The scent is based on the lily flower because when asked, eight out of ten men pick the lily as having their favorite floral scent. Unlike your run-of-the-mill floral scent however the scent uses the whole flower including its leaves, petals, and pistil. Plus how cool is the bottle? It mimics the shape of a lighter.
I got the below hand-cut lily paper flower to take home…thank you Cartier!

The morning I flew out to South Beach I rushed to Barneys to buy the Balenciaga bag on the right (I spotted it the day before and didn’t get it and subsequently had nightmares about it). Of course I wasn’t sure about getting the one bag and then saw my newbie bag’s twin at The Webster and now I want two!
